Det er mange katolikker i denne menigheten og også i resten av verden som må motta sakramentene og nære sitt trosliv på et annet språk enn sitt morsmål. I mange tilfeller kan det være berikende og godt å få ta del i en annen kulturs trosutøvelse. Samtidig vet vi at katolske innvandrere som mister kontakten med sitt språk og kultur ofte mister sin tro i tillegg. Derfor er det til Guds ære og i Kirkens tjeneste at man i Norge legger vekt på at de forskjellige gruppene med innvandrere skal få utøve sin tro på sitt eget morsmål. I denne sammenhengen er bergentamilkat.com et utmerket bidrag - og jeg vil tro, ikke bare for Bergenske tamiler.
